Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Do you like animals and pets? Do you have good customer serviceskills? Then consider our posting for an entry-level part-time veterinary assistant/receptionistin our small veterinary practice in Richmond Hill

In general, a veterinary clinic is very fast-paced with a rotationof duties and with animals present. Candidates must be able to follow protocolsand instructions exactly and be able to work under pressure. Candidates alsowork with animals (e.g. animal restraint, feeding patients, etc.).

Reception : Work with clients, answer phonecalls, schedule appointments, order supplies, do data entry, register newclients and do paperwork, sell products/do retail, bill clients, provideexcellent customer, re-stock food, lift heavy cases of animal food, and doother administrative duties as required.*

Veterinary support: Feed and restrain patients,assist the veterinarian during various clinical and medical procedures, set upinstrumentation, assist with medical tests, and do other veterinary supportduties as required. *

* You will be required to do additional duties as required by theveterinarian.
